Removals Tips
When should I book my removal?
Some days of the week and dates are in higher demand, so the earlier you can book, the more likely you are to secure your preferred dates.
Do I need a survey?
Yes. Our surveyors don’t only measure the volume of items to be moved, they look at access routes, parking issues and more, to ensure there are no delays on the day.
How long does a survey take?
Approximately 1 hour (depending on the size of property). During your appointment your surveyor will be happy to answer any questions.
Do you offer remote surveys?
Yes, via your phone or tablet, but we do recommend in person surveys as they tend to be more accurate.
Can you pack for me?
Yes, from single/specialist items to complete properties, we offer a comprehensive packing service. You can choose the removal to suit you;
- Bronze – Move
- Silver – Pack, Move
- Gold – Pack, Move, Unpack
Will you move anything?
We cannot move dangerous items (firearms, ammunition, gas bottles, etc). We also cannot move jewellery. Your surveyor can supply a full list of prohibited items and offer alternative solutions.
